Our Story
São Swim is a London swimwear label, founded by Amanda in 2024.
We make Brazilian-cut bikinis: smaller, bolder and more flattering than what you usually find. Pieces you reach for every summer, not just one holiday.
Every piece is made in small batches in Bali from Italian Carvico Vita fabric, chosen to hold its shape and colour season after season.
About Us
In Brazil, a bikini is cut to show off your shape, not hide it. Whether you like to wear your bottoms high on the hip or sitting lower on your hips, our bikinis are cut lower on the back and minimal at the front, so they flatter without ever feeling like too much.
Our collections stay small on purpose. At the heart of them is the Ilhabela, the thong that started it all. It's been with us since day one and comes back every season in new prints.
We'd rather make fewer pieces well than chase every trend. That's why we work in small batches, use fabric that lasts, and bring our favourite styles back each season.
Our Founder
Coming from a Brazilian family, I spent summers in Brazil and always bought my bikinis there. Back home, nothing came close.
It wasn't just the UK either. Wherever I looked, I struggled to find bikinis that didn't sag, weren't too big in the gusset, and didn't sit way too high up my back. I wanted the cuts I'd fallen in love with in Brazil, made to fit like they do there.
So in 2024 I started São Swim, to bring the Brazilian bikini to London and beyond.
I still design every collection and choose every print myself, and you'll usually see me wearing them on our Instagram.
